My name is Jim Rimmel, and like many others on this beautiful Island, I relocated here from the Ohio/Pennsylvania area.  I have been guiding professionals in real estate transactions for more than a decade.  My background includes 34 years of practicing law.  I specialized in Labor Arbitration, Real Estate, Business Structure and Estate Planning. Contracts and negotiations are my forte, and you'll find my legal experience invaluable when pondering the many questions involved with purchasing an investment property, a second home or entering into a partnership.  I have also served as a council member and Civil Service Commissioner for the Canfield, OH City Council, and have taught as an adjunct assistant professor at both Kent State
University and the University of Pittsburgh.

I first became a property owner on Hilton Head Island in 1978, and since then, have seen the growth and progress of this paradise.  It's a world away from the lifestyle that my family and I led up North, and the most wonderful place I can think of to call "home".
